Participants will learn a new model for engaging volunteer opportunities to source new knowledge, experiential learning, and professional development. At GPA, we believe that one of the most under-utilized opportunities for professional growth and development is volunteerism. This strategy promotes connection to service-based opportunities that will facilitate the establishment of relationships, networks, and sources of knowledge that will strengthen your skills, social capital and future career opportunities. Specific emphasis is placed on “role alignment” between the learning and development sought and the service-based opportunity engaged.
Course meets once a month for three months. Participant must attend all three classes to earn certification.
